Yoga, Food & Wine / we are going to Cape Town

We know how difficult it is to bring serenity to a hectic lifestyle.

Meetings, busy schedules and endless responsibilities can really bring you down. Well, not this winter, as we will bring you to our long-time dreamed of retreat in Cape Town with Kremena and Carla. A well-balanced combination of yoga practice, good food and great wine will be at the heart of the retreat. We will top this all up with a breathtaking view for our Sunset Yoga at table mountain .

About the accommodation:

Retreating to Bodhi Khaya stimulates a profound re-membering or awakening of our innate knowing. Our ancient branches are rooted in a deep symbiosis between human emergence and the land of Bodhi Khaya Retreat.

Bodhi traditionally translated into English with the word enlightenment, although its literal meaning is closer to "awakening". The Buddha was enlightened under what came to be known as the Bodhi Tree.

Khaya derives from the African Nguni (Zulu) word “i-khaya”, meaning dwelling, abode, or home. Kaya is a Sanskrit word which means body in the sense of many qualities gathered together, joined and united as one - the embodiments of loving-kindness, compassion, wisdom and skillfulmeans which appear in the world to help sentient beings.

After the YorYoga retreat we will take a journey on the spectacular garden route that will evoke all our senses. No doubt we will stop by and visit the penguins .

The last 3 nights we will spend in a luxury villa in Hout Bay area with daily sunrise yoga followed by visits to Cape Town as well as take part in wine tasting. Don’t forget to bring your hiking shoes as we will hike Table Mountain and Lions Head as well as do a sunset yoga on the top of the mountain overseeing the city.
